Snowy Egret Turf War

I have been wanting to improve my sunrise photography lately so I woke up at 5:45 yesterday and went to Ponce Inlet to try my luck. I got the photos of the sunrise and then I decided to go down on to the beach to see what birds were around. I am glad I did as I got a chance to see a Snowy Egret Turf war over a fish that had fallen out of someones cast net. I have been waiting for quite a while to get a good shot like this and I think the result ended up being the best wildlife photo that I have taken.

I wanted to do something a little different with this post so I have also included some of the outtakes below from the sequence of shots.

The Spoils of the Turf War

While some of the outtakes are good too I do not feel that any of them are quite as good as the first photo in the post. I started this post by talking about how I woke up early to take a sunrise photo I figured I better include it in the post, so below is the sunrise photo that I took.

Jags Vs Chiefs

Wow what a day! Got a chance to shoot the Jags and the Chiefs today in Jacksonville with my buddy Sean. I am a little tired right now but I will have full report in my next post on the game. I have uploaded some of the photos to my website here.
